Start from the parking lot near the town hall
Head for Aurillac, on the departmental road, and follow it for about 400m.
Take the road down to the left, winding down to the farm building and round it to the right. The path continues along a low wall. Follow the road up to the D990.
Turn left onto the road and follow it for about 300 m, before turning right onto the small road and reaching the hamlet of La Maisonnade.
After the hamlet, continue towards Rentières, and near the hamlet take the track on the right. Follow this until you reach the main road, which you cross.
Join the hamlet of Froquières, and before the drinking trough turn right onto the low-walled track towards Cropières. The route descends through meadows to reach the Goul. Cross the Goul and climb back up, skirting the château on the left. Cross the farmhouse to arrive in front of the château entrance. Go straight ahead on the minor road and join the RD59.
Turn left and follow the road for about 250m, reaching the hamlet of Puechmourriez.
After a steep climb, you come to the GR465; turn right for about 250m.
Turn right and continue on this small path between fences along a fir-tree wood. You'll come to the hamlet of Lavergne.
Leave the road and turn left onto a track that takes you back to Raulhac, passing behind the cemetery.
